This Agreement is a legally binding contract between Sivido (“the Platform”) and the Chauffeur (“Independent Partner”). By registering on the app, you agree to the following terms regarding your conduct, verification, and legal status.
1. CHAUFFEUR VERIFICATION POLICY
To ensure the safety of customers and the security of their vehicles, every chauffeur must undergo a mandatory screening process. No chauffeur may accept ride requests until their profile status is marked “Verified” by the Admin.
Mandatory Documents
Chauffeurs must upload clear and legible copies of the following documents:
Valid Driving License:Must be current and valid for the category of vehicle being driven.
National ID / Passport:Government-issued identification to verify legal age and residency.
Police Clearance Certificate (PCC):A recent background check (not older than 6 months) confirming no criminal record.
Profile Picture:A clear, professional headshot (no sunglasses or hats) for customer identification.
Verification Timeline
Admin Review:The Admin reserves the right to approve, hold, or reject any chauffeur profile at its sole discretion.
Turnaround Time:The verification process typically takes 3–5 business days.
Rejection:If any document is found to be forged, expired, or inconsistent, the application will be rejected immediately without further notice.
2. INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR STATUS
Non-Employment: Chauffeurs acknowledge that they are independent contractors, not employees, agents, or partners of Sivido.
Flexibility: Chauffeurs have the sole discretion to accept or decline ride requests forwarded by the Admin based on their own availability and convenience.
Taxes & Benefits: Chauffeurs are responsible for their own income tax filings, insurance, and social security contributions. Chauffeurs are not entitled to any employee benefits such as paid leave or health insurance.
3. VEHICLE CARE & PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT
Since chauffeurs operate personal vehicles belonging to customers, the following standards are strictly enforced:
Duty of Care:
Chauffeurs must treat the customer’s vehicle with the utmost respect, maintaining cleanliness and ensuring no damage to the interior or exterior.
Traffic Law Compliance:
Chauffeurs must strictly follow all local traffic laws, speed limits, and parking regulations. Any fines or penalties incurred are the chauffeur’s sole responsibility.
No Unauthorized Use:
Vehicles must only be used for the route requested by the customer. Personal errands or unauthorized passengers are strictly prohibited.
Zero Tolerance:
Use of alcohol, drugs, or mobile devices without hands-free functionality while driving will result in immediate and permanent deactivation.
4. WALLET & PAYMENTS
Earnings: All earnings are credited to the in-app wallet after deduction of applicable platform service fees or commissions.
Payouts: Chauffeurs may withdraw wallet balances to their linked bank account according to the platform’s payout cycle.
Disputes: Any payment discrepancies must be reported to Admin Support within 24 hours of trip completion.
5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Chauffeurs agree to indemnify and hold Sivido harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from chauffeur negligence, traffic violations, or misconduct while operating a customer’s vehicle.
